Just Got Back

Well just got home had a good trip Just hooked into 3 Steelhead and only got one to shore was useing 8lb test line it was fun fish we spread out. 6 of us were fishing and only hooked into 4 steelhead all week hooked up on blue and pink eggs and nailed the big one on a purple bugger I put a pink bead on the head and made an extra long tail, when I floated it down to the slack water the hit was outstanding.
Rained a few days and was cold, It was a week away from work and well worth it looking foward for next years trip.
What is a good time in the spring to go for steelhead and brown trout?

April would prob be better--I find March can be a lil slow due to run off of the snow melt.It will be mostly drop back steel w/ a few freshies mixed in---hardly any browns around that time of yr.Where did you and the crew fish? There was a TON of steel in the lower riva Sat,Sun, and Wed(days that I fished).

Steel on a pin---so easy a caveman can do it.
