Sucker spawn ?

I usualy tie mine with three stands of angora, but I bought some new yarn that seems much thinner than usual. In this case what would you guys suggest ? I tried it with four but it still seemed thin. Thanks in advance

I prefer sparse ones for clear water...

The moment of truth. Where all other things unconsciously melt away from our minds the instant a fish takes our fly. We stand there on the water with wide eyes, caught in a battle stance with an idea of confidence and hope

I bet if you fish the sparse ones you'll find they're equally as effective, or more so, than the larger ones.
