Sunday hunting for Archers Poll

Would you still support sunday hunting if it meant you would loose 2 weeks (roughly 33%) of the current archery season? Probably at the beginning, suggesting an opener in mid October.

Better too far back, than too far forward.

No way. Id rather have the time strung out over longer period. I love hunting when the early white oak acorns are fallin' and i love hunting the rut at the end.

Yes. I would thoroughly enjoy more time to hunt late October and the first 2 weeks of November.

You guys do realize we'd be giving up a full 2 weeks to gain like 4 days?

    Yes.

I would be willing to trade only the first 2 weeks of archery for Sunday hunting.

i don't understand why archers should loose any time.  the current theme is add opportunity not take away.  the only people advocating taking time away from archers are gun hunters.

First year, I'd say no to cutting back the season in the beginning but still get the Sundays to hunt.  Once the seasons are complete, get the harvest estimates and then adjust seasons, if needed.  Even then, only one years worth of data is not a good data set.
