WOW did I miss archery hunting ===

Took the crossbow out and had an enjoyable three hour hunt late this afternoon. Naturally was hoping to see some bucks but that was not the case....

about 5:30 I had a grouse walk by but it would not stop for a clear picture...

Did get pics of some antlerless deer... not shooting them now, I have senior rifle next Thursday for that .

The woods shot is where I ended up sitting next to the open area..

GREAT day, I am surprised how much I missed sitting in the woods this time of the year...

Or some venison on the ground anyway.

Had this female fawn under me for much of the night.  Had a good time even though I didn't get to "spill blood".

supposivly timbered woods have more browse. way back when there was gaggles of deer they all seemed to eat..but hey im not hating, im just saying.

Probably because he appears to be one of the anti-hunters posing as a hunter while visiting the hunting sites and working diligently to case as much division as possible within the hunting fraternity. It is a tactic that has become one of the most successful toward the anti-hunting movement. There are a couple in this board that kind of fit that profile.

RSB should be aware of the BS tactics being used since the PGC has been using them against anyone complaining about their Herd Reduction and RSB has a few of his own anti hunter Quotes on here in just the last week. ---------- A few disgruntled hunters---A loud vocal minority---- RSB's quotes on the type hunters who are dropping out, some of his others from another site wayne or deerfly posted a few weeks ago. For sure RSB fits the profile. I don't always agree with 270 But I think RSB's comment is the pot calling the kettle black.

That may be your opinion but it would carry more weight if you could show where my posts were just my negative views and not based on the facts at hand. I used to think the PGC walked on water, I had two family members that were part of them, rode with WCO's and DWCO's on patrol, and was going to join them until an employment opportunity came up I could not refuse which compromised my time.

RSB is on record making negative comments equal to or greater than anything 270 has said as far as hurting our image and and while he is damming the HSUS in this thread his leaders have no trouble giving them legitimicy by parterning with them when conveinent. The PGC's own Legislative Liaison made the rounds of the PA House Legislaters with Sarah Speed who is the State Director of the HSUS promoting HB-97 that increased penalties for hunting violations. When I questioned why, RSB put me down and saw no problem with that. Sarah Speed came here in 2007. Before that she was a Lobyist in California for Animal Rights Legislation.(there's that Calif connection again).
The HSUS game plan is to use any method to discourage hunters to quit the sport knowing the fewer hunters to complain the easier to topple the whole sport. they work the easier issues to start and move towards the heart and the PGC has no business going hand in hand with them to promote anything to do with hunting.

I agree.  Folks need to wake up.  That is for sportsmen, the PGC,  members of our game and fisheries committees and anyone that supports hunters and hunting.

It's not a matter of me liking or disliking any word you type, S-10.  It's an observation.

Your posts consistently have a negative flair, especially when it comes to anything about the PGC, anything that Dr. Trout or RSB posts and most anything in general.

You, and a few others, purposely sit back and wait to pounce on some of these guys each and every time they post.  Just let it go, man.  It gets really old.  Really, it does.

I think most others would agree.
