Climber Treestand Question

I recently bought a climber.  it has a bungee strap as i expected for climbing but it is only connected to the stand on one end and the other end just hangs. Maybe one of you guys could help tell me how to use a bungee strap like this one.  any help would be appriciated.

Early to bed
Early to rise
Fish like hell

    Once in position wrap bungee around tree and secure to opposite side . Keeps stand against tree and preventing an accidental drop..
