Kahle Lake

Hoping to make a trip up to my brother in laws cabin next week.  He mentioned this lake.  Know nothing about it.  Would it be worth visiting?

Anywhere else near Rockland/kennerdale worth trying this time of year?

Kahle is usually a good bass lake, but this year it has been drawndown due to dam repairs

If your gonna take a boat it will be tricky launching it. Electric only but you might be able to shore fish but i would be carefull as duck season opens Saturday

Not sure about Kahle, but wading the river anywhere between Franklin and Kennerdale should be good for smallies this time of year.

Kahle Lake is an awesome bass lake, but due to the drawdown it might not be what it usually is. If you have never been there it might be hard to find due to a lack of signs directing you to it.
There are two launches, one on each side of the lake.

Kahle is a great bass fishery.  Like other posters have stated the water is extremely low.  I was up there about a month ago and couldn't believe what I saw.  I would recommend going there when the water is up.  Good amounts of bass and panfish.  Plus there are some walleyes and muskies to be had.  My buddy got a 43"er out of there last year.
