Lost rod

My boy left his rod at Godfrey Run 10-4 at about 5:00. He hooked another line,snagged in the water, and when he tried to break the line off, the other line had a pinfish lure on it and it broke loose and the lure hooked the boys thumb real deep. He couldn't get the hook out and had to get assistance and left the rod against a tree in the parking area. He went back 45 minutes later and the rod was gone. Anyone finding the rod I would appreciate a call..Jerry Thomas [WF] at 814-539-5994. Thanks in advance.

    I did not know there was a parking area at Godfrey?????

    I was only there once. I guess along the road at the top of the hill.

    Hope his hand is ok! Many years ago we were at Lake Ontario and I got a J-plug hooked deep in my thumb. Cut it off with some side cutters, then had it cut out at a hospital when we got home 2 days later. didn't want to push it all the way thru and then cut.

    My Wife said, if I go fish'n one more time, she'll leave me! God, I'm going to miss her!
