ordered my new toy!!!

just ordered my marlin 1895 stainless 45-70 laminant stock 18 1/2"....cant wait!

    What I love about those big bores is that you allways get 1/2 inch groups with one shot.

    I had a model 94 Winchester Big Bore .375
    Definite short range buck stopper, or bear or moose etc.
    Carried it when I planned on hunting the slashings in Marshburgh.

    Sweet.  My stainless/laminate 45-70 GG shoots better than most of my bolt guns and is a dream to carry.  You will love it.

    dmps...i cant wait to shoot it...its still not in i call daily..lol...what ammo shoots the best from it...or are you loading if so please share anything your willing to...hopefully it will be here soon!

    Here is mine.  Put a Nikon Pro Staff 2X-7X on it.  Loves 325 grain Hornady LeverEvolutions.  It will shoot one ragged hole at 100 all day long.

    i posted this on 9/26 and the thing still hasnt come in yet...could have bought it off the shelf but a friend got a discount thru marlin...uggg this stinks!
