2hrs definitely won't do much.  Better than nothing I guess.

One night or a weeks worth of hard rain...doesnt matter it still only takes these tribs a day and a half no rain, at best, to get shallow again.

    Just sayin'

What exactly do we need a weeks worth of rain for? As Shutupnfish said, the creeks are still going to drop in a day or two...

The next rise will move a bunch of fish, then people will complain about the streams being low again.

The creeks were still pretty low and clear this evening however I was chased off by a pretty nasty storm that put enough water down for the steelhead to make it to tim hortons on route 5...assuming that they wanted to swim in the foot of water flowing on the road

Actually saw folks going down to the mouth of 7 mile at noon. 3 cars,
all gone by 3. :-) 12 mile has about 2 inches of water exiting at the mouth, about 3 feet across. The rest is blocked by a large log.
They really should change the ten year old picture of the mouth of
12 mile on the stream descriptions. The area shown is now all sand.
I tried to get a picture of it but having trouble retrieving pictures from the **** phone.

This sheet is gettin old outta you duud....cry us a river...plenty of us share alot of info here, publicly and privately. Instead of publicly whining that locals are using "defensive tactics" to keep you and/or others away...perhaps a better idea would b to pm a "local"...and ask politely if they would share...but whatever...

    Whatta ya wanna hear?

Here's an "honest report" from a "local"...

    It rained....all major tribs have a few fish....and o yeah....it September.

I don't always snag fish, but when I do...

Here's something else I wanna say as a "local". I fish the lake, I fish the bay, I fish the creeks...all year for everything. I'm blessed to live here....even if I didn't....

I go fish when I can/wanna go fish. I don't consult any lunar charts, I don't have a fish log. I have a general idea when and where fish should be by my calender....and I go fish there...and if I get some...cool...and if not...I find enjoyment in my surroundings/company....moral to the story...

    It's always "worth it"

I don't always snag fish, but when I do...
    I choose Little Cleos

Because creek water does not come from the sky, it comes from the ground. A week of rain saturates the ground and then it leeches into the creeks. The more rainwater in the soil the higher the creeks are for a longer time.

Some people think that water only comes in little plastic bottles.
