Glade Run Lake this past weekend

I made a trip up to lovely butler county this weekend and spent a few hours fishing Glade Run Lake. It's not a bad little lake, but I've fished from the shore twice and had some, but not great success fishing from the shore. Seems like the best way to fish the lake would be by boat.

When the wind was down, I was getting a fair number of bites with a tiny torpedo, but I suspect it was a lot of panfish that were interested. Did get a pretty nice bass on a tubeworm though.

    The far end of the lake used to be pretty good for bass, but the last time I fished there you needed a boat.  The dam is the deepest area and I've had some luck there both topwater and deep divers.
