Reconsider the size of gear
I failed to mention in my earlier reports, ( check THE RUN IS ON), the size of these fish that everyone is talking about. The size is not a lie or rumors. I caught and released a 33#er, quick weigh on a 50# scale, a male king. The other ones were 24#-26#'s. I'm using 15# test on a 1100 ugly stik and have bent that rod to the handle making the graphite make scary noises trying to slow these giants down. Even lost a coho that I thought was a big king until it jumped out of the water in the rapids leaving me in a pile of mono. So all the wows you've heard are true, and double check your gear. New line is a must. Good luck out there.
