hows the eye bite

hoping to get out this weekend i have been trying for weeks now and if its not the weather its family issues. hopefully going to get out sat or sun. going out of walnut. taking my younge bro and my cousin. neither has ever had the chance to catch the eyez out of erie so i am hoping we find the fish and that they have a good time. and that they don't get sick and chum everywhere. lol ahahah

Monday off Conneaut: Wind was out of the south. Calm at the docks, 5 miles out 3-5's marked some fish in closer from the 6-7 and set up to troll with the waves, and never marked a fish past the 7. Played for about an hour, hooked three but only pulled one 32' hog on a watermellon spoon. That wind screwed up things pretty good, at least for me. Talked to a guy that was way east of us on the 18 W line and he was doing pretty good using Renoskys. Good luck!
