    i already talked to kingnuke, we're taking the canoe out of walnut to troll for eyes in 60 fow... Don't worry though, its a 12 footer with foam bumpers on the side so it won't tip over

    Just curious, does anyone know what the largest waves have ever been on Lake Erie? I have no clue but would think 8-11 footers would have to be close.

    I could be wrong but I thought I heard a forecast in the winter when they were supposed to be around 18 feet.

    I have heard reports of 20 footers when winter gales would come through and the lake wasn't frozen.

    Just got back from Walnut access.  Shined the headlights out to see some monster waves.  The surge from the lake goes up as far as the stop sign hole on the big ones.
