bowfishing

Hey fellas, I just bought the new pse hammerhead bow fishing rig and I took it out for the first time yesterday and when I would hand line the carp in my arrow would come out. I need new broadheads for it and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a type of broadhead. Thanks

yeah im pretty sure a broadhead isnt going to tow in a carp, bow fishing arrows are needed which wont allow the arrow to come back through the fish while bringing it in

It's funny guys... get so tough when they can"t see you face to face. I was going to try and help, but sounds like you don't need it.

We need somebody that bowfishes to chime in, do they call the tips broad heads? I watched a few shows and listened in on a few bowfishing conversations on this site and never heard anyone call the tips broadheads??? Dont get all flustered and bent out of shape, I should not have posted anything anyway because im not interested in bowfishing in the least bit.

    Anatomy of a Bowfishing Rig

Fish points: My personal opinion is that the Muzzy carp point is one of the best fish points ever produced and is on nearly all our fish arrows. However, the longer shots and reduced penetration on bigger fish we experienced in the Mississippi last year convinced me to try the Warhead this year. The barbs fold all the way down against the shaft and are closer to the tip than many other points. I’m hoping this combination results in deeper penetration on longer shots. This head does have the potential to allow “spin offs” where the fish spins causing the head to turn and release the barbs. The Muzzy carp point’s construction won’t allow that.

were you bow fishing for silver carp and asian carp? A buddy of mine is going out on the Illinois river next week for that. It sounds like a lot of fun.

"A Homewood man led police on an hourlong car chase that ended with a crash injuring three officers.

"The car was driving itself," Wright said. "The car has a GPS. It's a Lincoln Navigator. They drive themselves. I wasn't running nowhere."
