I have reservations for the afternoon trip on the john-edward tommorrow...

forecast is for winds from North and Northwest...  11 to 17mph

N NW winds at 11 to 17 mph...plan on it being bumpy, if it holds true.

    Yep, I just checked the NOAA....calling for 3 to 4 footers....that means 5 and 6es

You can wipe your rear end with NOAA perdicition. Last Week On Wed. I checked and they said 1ft. on thurs. and 1ft. on fri. I went to Erie and quess what! 3 to 4 footers on thurs. and 3 to 5 footers on Fri. I did alot of bouncing around.

My Wife said, if I go fish'n one more time, she'll leave me! God, I'm going to miss her!

NEVER look at it seriously more than a day out, I don't know as I've ever seen a 3 day away forcast that was more than 1-3's and usually 2' or less... just sayin'

I know what you mean bulldog. I have been doing this for a long time. but I read this on Wed. at about 2pm. and 17hrs. later when I get there, it is 3-4 footers. Really, you just have to take your chances and see what it's like when you get there. You would think though, that with all the Dopler radar and other crap they would be better than they are. It just really got to me this time.

we had e.j. reserved past sun. our whole
club. we never got out as the waves were
5' to 6' and captain john said no way.
so i wouldn't count on it, but as others
say the lake coud change at any time.
