SPEED STUDS

I was cruising the net an came across these things called speed studs made by G5.They claim that you will gain 5 to 10 fps by installing these on your string. You would think adding wait to your string would decrease your speed not increase it.Anybody ever hear of them or try them yet?

Weight added to the string in the correct location definitley increases speed. However it typically take a chronograph and some screwing around with position to maximize the advantage.

Better too far back, than too far forward.

Stacking several eliminator buttons used to boost speed a bit. But like MM said a chrony and some adjusting was necessary to get the max from them . Mathews Z7 and I believe some other models are putting them on when building their bows and they are one piece now.

Generally speaking weight positioned on the string closer to the cams will boost speed while adding weight towards the middle will decrease speed. Of course all bows are different.
