Looks like a good time ! Enjoy ! I was there in 1987 and did a lobster trip as well and it was pretty cool.

The Ale was pretty good if you like a hoppy brew...doesn't compare to some of the good ones we had right at the Shipyard & Run of the Mill breweries just today...My favorite so far is the "Old Thumper" made by Shipyard. The fresh lobster is sincerely out of this world too!! Check out this killer 1/2 gallon growler from The Run of the Mill...filled with Alwife Ale...very nice beer as well.

Hey ShutupNFish, while you were eatin' those mackerel in Maine, we were usin' 'em for bait on Cape Cod. My ten yo son pulled in 15 dogfish/sand sharks in a row... Then we moved into the channel for some stripers We also pulled in fluke, skates, stone crabs, arrow crabs and had the line ripped by a bluefish. A great morning! Too bad the wind blew us off the water for 2 days before that. A great place to visit!

You in Portland? Check out Street & Co. for a high end seafood meal, top notch. They also have the best oyster bar in Portland if you're into that.

My brother and his lady friend are up in Bar Harbor right now. I think he went to Maine so his cell wouldn't get reception. Beautiful pics.

Brings back memories. First time I ever ate lobsters was in Banger. Been hooked ever since. Those are great pixs. Thanks for sharing. I was in the service then, and met a steady in Caribuo who,s name was Goerge ( an indian) .lol Not too many women that far north so Goerge had to do. She would drink a pitcher of beer faster than you could a bottle.
