I am heading up to Lake Wilhelm next weekend. Was wondering if anybody was doing any good up there for bass or walleye?

i was up there saturday with my friend,we caught 2-26 inch waleyes,a 20 inch 4 pound bass and a bunch of crappies,all by trolling

my dad and i were up yesterday for bass, we mostly fished back in the 'stumps' and only managed 2 bass

Where are the Walleye on Lake Wilhelm? I have heard near launch 4? What time of the day did you catch the walleye? Did you use a worm harness? Were the crappies decent size?

dead sea man, trolled by launch for with harnesses and hotntots last night. nothing.

dead sea man, trolled by launch four with harnesses and hotntots last night. nothing.
Im gonna leave this lake alone till the seasons change a bit.

yeah the past month or so up there has been hard. we put in on average 12 hours of fishing a weekend up there and only manage 4 or 5 bass for our hard work. abut the weather deffinatly hasnt been helping much

I cant speak for the Walleye but the big bass are schooled up bigtimein the north end of the lake off of points and dropoffs. They can be challenging to find but when you find them theres a bunch of them and there BIG!

caught the walleye down by the dam,they were deep,crappies were all nice size,we were using lures

This is a little off topic, but I was curious as to how long the gas station/restaurant off of the PA-358 exit to lake wilhelm from I-79 has been closed? Wasn't it called Stuckey's or something like that? I see it is for sale. I remember going there as a kid.
