Pimy Spillway

Was up at Pymatuning on 7-23-10 and fished the afternoon at "The spillway" Caught quite a few cats, but the side shows were great... one guy lost his outfit fishing next to the rail, one guy fell in going after his buddys lost rig. A guy next to me "caught" another lost rig (not the original lost outfit!)All in all had a blast, only wish that I would have brought my video camera. Would have had some great footage for the Funniest Video show.

I do the spillway once every other year or so for carp. What a fun fun time, take my noodle rod and my 7wt flyrod and it's FISH ON  all day. There are a few big boys in there too that are real knuckle busters on the fly, some you can't slow or even turn. Its alsways fun, there are some big white bass at times in there as well, 14+" have been caught.

The spilly is a good walk from my camp, but used to be the best place on the lake from shore for multiple species. Still is!
