Yeah- I know that one too. Mine mostly likes me to go fishing though. She knows she married a fisherman, and she likes me to bring her a Chromer home to eat.

Look on the bright side! You'll have nice, clean clothes to wear on your trip in August.

this thread sounds like a country song. the washer quit and my wife won't let me go fishing... i think we're on to something here lol...

i just had a new one this past june. i already took her up when she was only 3 weeks old. my son is 3 and a half and he's been up probably 15 times already. he loves it. me and my father had him up this past january. he stayed out with us on the river for about 3 hours until sun down and the high of that day was only 16. i guess it just comes naturally to him. for my wife, she doesn't love it, but she appreciates it. and for me, i love it... i'll be up weekend of the 7th and 8th. i'll be in dirt holes more than fishing holes, but i will find some time to fish. maybe dawns and dusks. fish on...

Mine hasn't reached that stage yet. lol  I am working on training her though. Anyone have a manual for training women? If not I will have to try my beagles shock collar.

I'm sure some of you guys have seen me up there fishing with my wife the hot blonde that seems to hook fish with her eyes closed. I got her started in this by perfect timing on the run. Just so happened the day I took her up there for the first time, the kings were moving thru nose to tail. She didn't have to really try to hook up it was as easy as toss your line out and you had one. Now its tough to go up without her, and yes she does outfish me quite often. . . . and I wouldn't change it for the world.

Stress is just one hookset away from being gone.

No Dime you'll usually find us prowling staircase to 81 for the first couple of months. Been a long time since I visited DSR, like the place, just didn't want to spend the $$$ for mudsharks. Steel maybe.
