Help wanted...make lead dull?

Other than exposing lead sinkers to air to oxidize it anyone know how to speed up the process?

Vinegar. I use a small disposable cup with a couple ounces of vinegar. Leave the shot sit in the vinegar for 3 to 5 days and then rinse with water.

I think the best way would be to expose it to the public school system.  But that's over generalizing.

Thank you all...think I'll try the vinegar or hydrogen peroxide as I have that on hand,if that don't work I'll try the patina.

    I use white vinegar.

My reports and advice are for everyone to enjoy, not just the paying customers.
