Yough lake

Hey guys new to this just wanted to say hello to all, also been fishing the lake a good bit this year (once a week) and it has been tough especially for largemouths this year have been picking some up on a finesse jig with craw trailer as of late if that would help anyone! Thanks good fishing to all

Last weekend, walking & fishing from shore my buddy got a 20" LM and an 18" SM bass.  Tight, tight, tight to shore!  within 5 feet of the shoreline.  They were tucked into small boulders.  Fish those rocks, and fish them EARLY!

bbb, he was using live shiners.  But I imagine if you're using artificials, I'd use flies, but tube jigs would work.  And I like mid sized husky jerks.

I have trouble putting my drop-shot rod down....after the topwater stuff is done. Other than in May, I can't seem to get bit on a tube.

Went this evening caught three smallmouths one was real nice about 3 pounds maybe a little more it coughed up about half dozen of minnies! Trout about thanks for the tip on drop shotin may have to do a little more and experiment with it some more in different areas.
