One Fly Poker Tourney

I will be holding the Texas Holem Poker Tourney , for the Fruit Basket donations at the evening of the "one fly". After the fishing,eating,door prize give away and casting events , I will be having a sign up for the tourney. Lets say 7:oopm sign in and 8:oopm start time. Tourney should last approx. 4 to 5 hours. Depending on the number of players.
Im hoping to hold the tourney right there at Folleys , if there is enough room , to avoid traveling and paying for a banquet hall. Number of players will dictate where we will play.

I am asking those of you who will be interested in playing to "commit" to playing by sending me a PM if you are going to participate in the tourney. I will update players as I get entries.

Deadline to sign up will end on September 12th , one month before the event. This way I will know how many there will be and if there is room at Folleys to hold the tourney. Or I will have to have time to find a hall close to play at.

Entry fee to play will be $30.00 / player
NOTE: **Prizes will be given to the top 5 finishers or more depending on the # of players entered in the tourney.**

Remember : The money raised playing Poker is for the Fruit Basket Donations for our Landowners in appreciation for their tolerance of us fishermen and women. We thank you all.

Actually a blind is a minimum bet that a selected person must make to start off each hand.  It keeps the betting from getting stale.  The blind rotates around the table and a person can get "blinded out" if they don't have enough money to meet the blind.

There will be no cheating. Period!

Some rules to think about. Its a courtesy thing.

The best hand will win and when a pot is decided by the best hand , all cards will be shown to the river card who are still in the hand and have been called.

I will make a sign for rules of the game and rules of game play.

 I would expect there to be no table talk of such hand by any player "not in the hand" until the hand has been played or is over. Table talk "is allowed" during a hand "only" between the 2 players left in the hand.

After a hand has been played.... then and only then.... may you RAZZ up the table talk. Please not during a live hand. Just to make things fair to all players.
