french creek sky's

was on creek over weekend had two follows and missed a small one. we were between seagertown and meadville. this is first year with the bug. anyone know how it is farther north.

    General question:  Has French been fishing well lately?  Is it pretty low?

    I was up at Franklin last week bike riding on the Allegheny River trail, so I can't say anything about the fishing, but french creek and the allegheny both were about as low as I have ever seen them.......

    we went from saegertown to shaw's landing last weekend. the crick is very low and the bite was ok. we caught a few smallmouth and saw some really big musky, they just wouldn't bite. we saw a lot of fish, but most wouldn't hit

    i live around venango and theres some good spots to wade in at there. the closed bridge is where i go sometimes but theres usually guys there in the evenings. plenty of smallies and rock bass to be had tho.
