Flies for Swinging

I won't go so far as to call any of these three spey (or dee, as the case may be), but they're clearly inspired by these two styles. Particularly Glasso's featherwing style of spey. Critique, comment, enjoy.

Very nice Cold. Floss work and all is beautiful!!!!!!! Do ya have any room left in your boxes???

Cold  ,  if for some reason you run outta room for all those flys you can just send them to me. I will pay for postage. Be worth the 25 bucks for a shoe box size full of your flys.   Just throw em in any ole' way and I will sort em out.

Nice proportion and heads. Nice slim profile, too, espec considering all the different steps in the recipe.

    Thanks guys.

Deetz, steely, et al. If & when I see yinz this fall (one fly or otherwise), take a look thru my fly box and if something strikes your fancy, grab it and tie it on! A fish caught on a fly I tied is just as great as one I caught myself.

If I get done with drinks with the guys and GaGa prep tonight, I'll throw a few shot up of the flies I'm tying at the moment. Similar, but different.

Of the flies pictured, only the simple black & gold one has seen water. It didn't catch anything in the low, warm, slow, clear conditions I was fishing, but it did look pretty awesome in the water, and I'll definitely be trying to emulate it in future ties.

I saved this dude's day on last Sunday.  Then he proceeded to out fish me with my own flies!
