french creek cats

went out tonight and it was reallllllllllly slow . any peticular time i should be out fished from 10 to 1 and 2 runs wouldda stayed longer but i gotta be somewhere early .

my main question is anyone ever got into channels during the day? i figured where i was there should have been some and i know they are. my father was the reason for the late start even i wanted to be there by 7 but 10 is what i got

    Meh, im not sure its the time of day more than the lack of cats? Ive only skunked at french creek for cat fishin. I normally use chicken liver.

    The hottest place right now is the shenango dam in sharpsville, but believe me this isnt a secret. On a nice night there prob 30 people fishing there all night.

    me and a fried are headed up there next week actually . we only went to french cuz my dad used to go as a kid. tonight im goin for bowfin in about an hour and cats by nine should be a fun day
