All set here. Decided on taco salad. Not sure if my buddy's coming or not...called last night & emailed today with no response. Maybe I'll just pay him a surprise visit tonight.  I'll be there either way, might bring the fam. instead.... saw some BIG carps today at lunch in the shallows, the boy would dig that. Looking forward to it.

Yes, it was a pleasure to meet a few of you. 30+ hours at the lake was a bit much for me.. had to use Max as an example.. came home and took a nap lol...
Speaking of Max... What a great 3 year old.. Very well behaved, and the little guy can cast better then most 10 year olds..Hmmmmm ..Maybe he can teach his dad (Pork) how to tie his boat to shore ..lol

Great time all. A little hot in the sun but the company and food was great. Andy , the fish are in the water.  Stopped at the electric motor area and caught 1 small bass. When did they remove the boom that sepperated the motor and no motor zone? Like I said, been years since I fished there. Again, thanks for showing up all, we,ll do it again sometime.

Yep, great weather & a good group of people. Was glad to meet you all. Carol went above & beyond...we had enough to eat for a small army. We'll have to get together again when the feesh are a little more cooperative. Max still had fun casting his bobber & glad JT hooked up on a hog.  Thanks for the jab chuck...I knew I could count one of you guys to remind me.   I think the boat wanted to go fishin....but I have to admit that's the first time I ever had to 'fish' for a boat...I think I'm lucky I didn't catch it with that 2oz sinker, could have sunk my battleship.  Many thanks to the friendly ohio bass fisher that saved me from a swim. And also John, Andy & Carol for putting it all together, good time.

Thanks everybody for showing up!Speaking for my son,wife and self we had a great time getting to meet some new friends and spend a nice day relaxing by the lake.As far as Carol's food,,,well I warned you all that she was ready At least I still have a tray of deviled eggs,well half a tray Thanx also for giving JT the big fish prizes even though we never quite landed it  Once again had a great time and was happy to get to meet all of you.Can't wait to try it again. Andy P.S. John I was trying for that elusive "rock"bass don't ya know  pss.bings thanks for replacing my "rock"bass lure

Sorry I missed it!
This is the first I have been online for quite a while.
I am a two time cancer survivor (so far) and have never fished wilhelm but always wanted to take my 9yr old son and the boat to Wilhelm.
