maybe this is a silly question. but I'm unsure so I'll ask...
How do we figure out who's who. unfortunately I've never met you guys and I wouldn't recognize anyone on the board by sight.
as for me, I'll be showing up in a spring green ford focus. I'm 6'0 very handsome and should have a very sleepy 10 year old girl. I will plan on arriving as early as 5am since I don't want to be late (And I want to make sure I have time to spare). we're totally thrilled to go.
would it be practical to mention a specific spot, or maybe hang a little sign on a boat. There's a little building in front of the marina, maybe we could all meet there?
my game plan is wander around with my daughter and make eye contact with alot of people. I figure if you're looking for me, you'll speak up

I will be pulling out from the dock at 0530 fish blood covered deck by 0600  I contacted my riders and gave them all the pertinent info. I would recommend all riders and their captains exchange PMs with cell#s etc and let them know any expectations and what kind of boat they are looking for etc. And in case of bad weather or emergencies nobody will be waiting around.

Hey Big Slick, is there going to be anybody hanging around the pavillion during the fishin'? Still tryin' to figure out the whole food warming thing. Is anyone staying at Folleys the night before? I'm probably gonna just drive up the night before late, so if you wake up and there's a big whit truck in your yard wake me up before you leave won't get out of the fair till probably 11 or so, gonna be sleepy hope the perch and eyes are active

Bull, I figured we would warm the food while we are cleaning the fish. By the time all the fish are clean and we are heating up the oil to fry em' up, roasters and stuff should be warm...And beer should be cold

I will be at the dock at 5:45 in the waiting area just before ready area ( adjacent to the south side of walnut creek ) I will wait until 6 am to launch so please be ready to board at 5:45 you will have a 15 minute leeway .... My truck is blue and boat is dreamcatcher also has A DAY AWAYFISHING ADVENTURES decals on it thanks to Bulldog

Looks like we are going to have a nice Lake with southerly winds (2ft or less) and nice weather.....But this is Erie, and that could change in the next 24 hours???? I have to admit I'm getting antsy! Can't wait to meet all you folks I've made 'friends' with on here!! Desserts made last night and stashed since I am stuck at work till Friday morning. Had I known for sure the weather was going to be that smooth we would have volunteered our other boat to add a few more seats, oh, well... weather is never something to count on with Erie! Expanding on Jolie's post above about knowing folks... I am horrible with names and will apologize ahead of time for when I have trouble keeping new names straight. Unless someone brings nametags! LOL

I plan on being there no later than 5:30. Hope to be there sooner as I never been there before. I am a big guy that will be wearing glasses with a camo color hat. Probably be in maroon color cobalt.

My partner and I will be there eventually. I'll be working till 11 on Fri. night so that 6:30 am launch ain't happening. But it looks like a nice day. We will try to knock off early and head to the picnic. I'll make some kicked up fish sauce (I hope we catch some) and bring some brews and snacks. See you at Folly's.
