Are the new launches at the Mill Creek access on the Piney Dam done yet?

As you can see from the pictures, the launch is not finished. Talking with the supervisor in charge, they plan to be finished by the end of next week. The launch is open for use now, but the parking area is not completed. They plan to pour the cement for the dock attachment tomorrow and start work on guard rails around the parking area. The water level is pretty low.

Well that just bites!  Wanted to hit the dam Saturday morning then head to Pymatuning on Sunday.  Guess I'll just wait on the Clarion a bit more as I can't launch at Toby.  Be heading to Pymy on Saturday I guess.  Much thanks, Steeler Fan!! Great pics.  PFBC was suppose to have it done earlier but WHO would of thunk that they would be done on schedule??

You may launch if you wish, the dock just will not be in. Water level should be back up by the weekend. I was told by the supervisor that they have had plenty of 20+ foot boats launch. Only one person really complained due to the low water and the need to go off the end of the ramp into the stones.

Was at the launch on friday evening. Some fkin idiots were ripping the new posts out of the ground and throwing them into the water. Just so happens to be that the fish commision was right below the bridge and came within feet of being hit by them. Talking about being in the right place at the right time. No call for that bull****. One of the women in the group was also dropping her pants top the bare *** and getting up on trucks and sliding down the windshields. She did damage one vehicle. I made sure I told the officers about it and they were soon taking pics of the vehicles. Why do these ****in idiots always try to ruin it for everybody else?

Finally open again!!!!!!! Just got back from Millcreek and the launch is open to boats again. They extended it another 20 feet so boats do not go off the end of the ramp and damage their trailers. Just minor finishing up work tomorrow according to the workers.
