Well I don't know if they could survive with the surplus of gators nowadays.

Apparently it was only half a flounder...Gator expelled it upon capture..

It was recovered near the mud hole by a lucky cat fisherman....

Did you hear about the new game fish the PFBC is trying to breed? They took a Coho and crossed it with a Walleye. They called it a Kowal. It had great taste, and fought like hell, but wasn't very large. So they crossed it with a Muskie, and called it a Kowalski. It has the best of everything: it fights hard, it tastes great, and it grows up to 50 inches. The only problem is they swim backwards / ?

Do you guys think a 5 weight leader will work for flounders? Does it have to be tapered?

Flounders, alligators, lake snakes, bigfoots and ufos.

Front Page, The Morning News, Erie, Pa., August 1, 1966:
UFO SIGHTED ON PENINSULA, GIRL DESCRIBES LANDING
An unidentified flying object was sighted on the Peninsula shortly after dusk Sunday night...

I wonder what the evening edition printed about the story?

Dad told me they were all dropped off on Black Sunday and these sightings are just resupply missions.

The vicious traffic squad cars are after our lone driver, the last American hero, the electric centaur, the, the demi-god, the super driver of the golden west! Two nasty Nazi cars are close behind the beautiful lone driver. The police numbers are gettin' closer, closer, closer to our soul hero, in his soul mobile, yeah baby! They about to strike. They gonna get him. Smash him.****.. the last beautiful free soul on this planet."

Funny story (at least I hope you think it's funny) along these same lines.

About 35 yrs ago (was about 12 at the time), a friend of mine went on vacation in North Carolina. His Father had planned for them to stop and camp for a weekend at Prince Gallitzen (I think it's also called Maurice K Goddard) PA state park on their way home from North Carolina.

On the last day they were in North Carolina, my friend catches a black tip shark that was just a couple foot long. He puts the shark in their cooler. When they get to Prince Gallitzen, he hikes over to the beach that night to place the shark on the beach. This was just weeks after the original Jaws movie hit the theaters.

I guess it caused a big commotion the next day when the shark was discovered, but the intelligent folks on the scene knew that it had to have been placed there.

Kinda like a couple decades ago when some kid caught a piranha outta the bay. Some one let one go , maybe more , and it was caught. Now this happened in the middle of summer when the bay temps were warm enough to support it to survive for awhile. But being a tropical fish it would never survive when the water temps got to cold. Sumthin like that.

    I smell movie sequel

    I found the article
