Goby

Hey guys. Last summer while fishing the North Pier, I discovered that if I accidentally forgot to take the goby off the hook when they ate my worm, the other, larger fish enjoy eating goby on a hook. Earth shattering, right? Anyways, I am thinking of fishing the North Pier tomorrow, but I would like some opinions. What do you think would be more effective? 1) Casting the goby out with no additional weight and letting it do its thing, or 2) Adding some additional weight, forcing it down deep? Thanks guys. I value all of your opinions; most of you are probably much more experienced than I.

I would start by getting it down to the bottom. Just like a drop shot rig. Thats what Id try first. If that dont work try something different. JMO.

Carolina ticket was the ticket. Thanks, Funk. However, I took Deetz's idea and did a little drop shot with a fake 3 inch goby. Thanks, guys/

Hahahahaha sheephead, yes. Bass, a few. Nothing post worthy. What's the etiquette with picture posting? Are you supposed to post everything you reference or only post worthy stuff? I have been catching a lot of fish this year, but the large fish have been lacking.

lol, that goby on a tube rammed that hook right through its brain cavity. Talk about 'dieing for a bite to eat'

"A Homewood man led police on an hourlong car chase that ended with a crash injuring three officers.

"The car was driving itself," Wright said. "The car has a GPS. It's a Lincoln Navigator. They drive themselves. I wasn't running nowhere."

I use them as bait until they become something bigger's snack, or I kill them. Either way, they die.
