My "circle the house" bird.

This bird has lived in our woods for two years and I think he knows he is safe as I hunt another patch of woods behind the house. I hear him every morning in the same area. He needs another year, then he may be in trouble.

He came out of the woods on the east side.

Surveyed his kingdom.

Walked through the yard on the north side.

Ate his supper under the watchful eye of the cat on the west side.

Left for the creek and a drink on the south side.

Good pics. Right now there is a hen and a jake that regularly (but not together) visit my birdfeeders.

I know, I know, just trying to see if there was a hen or something making him strut.
