Love is in the air..

Oil Creek is starting to freak me out..
Last time it was choppers dumping Brown Bacteria at me..

Today it was the invasion of the "Horny Toads".
They got so loud at Petroleum Center I left..
Were some at the Miller farm but not in the numbers at Petroleum..
Must have been a hundred toads along the bank gettin it on..
Kind felt funny takin pictures, But who is that toad gonna tell anyway..

These little males were singing up a storm...

Hope he at least got her flowers.....

And if I don't hear one good sister in law joke from Rapala11 I'm sending out the search party......

Sound of slap bass playing in background.

Cool pics; how'd you "make out" on Oil Creek?

The rabbits in my yard have been going at it this week. When they are in a fond embrace they are oblivious to what is going on. They wouldn't even move when I drove up the driveway. I revved the engine and they just kept at it. I probably could have walked over and picked them up...

    thats dinner... and lunch

but you were smart... and let them finish up
in a few months, you'll have a whole weeks worth of meals

what you need to do is trap the youngins and pen raise them in an 10"x 10" cage
that way they can't move and work off all that tasty fat
go down to the fish hatchery and steal a 50# bag of pellets for food (and dump some bleach in the raceways while you're at it)

Something killed all three of the female rabbits I had in my yard. Skinned em, gutted them and ate all the meat. Left nothing but a spine and some ribs and a bit of leg bone. Whatever it was bit the heads off and didn't eat any innards, or skin but cleaned all the meat off the carcass. Didn't seem to get the two males yet just the ladies. I like my semi-wild rabbits. But I'd like to know what wacked the does.
