Hit the north pier tonight. me and a friend fished about 2 hours and did not catch a single perch. there were atleast 100 or more people on the south pier fishing on the opposite side of the channel, i hear their catchin alot of jumbos over there. ill try there in the next couple days and will post how it goes

read the newspaper, understand the movement of perch, read the posts..... Its no secret on catching them there, it happens this time every year. There arent any secret spots, just arrogant people who when they find fish... crappie in the stinkhole, walleye off of powell ave, super secret bass fishing spots... and they think the own the place and get jacked when someone moves in on them.... if you understand the fish... none of the spots people " spot burn" are that big of a secret...

heading up to erie this weekend with family.will be fishing of north or south pier.can u get smallmouth right now of of the piers just wondering dont have bassboat .maybe get some perch.crappies are hitting at wilhelm by the 1st launch.

kmp i dont care if i am "spot burning" or whatever because number one its a public pier, number 2 its packed anyways, and three i appreciate when people give honest reports and tell where the fish are around so i dont mind telling other people.

i guess since i told everyone that the perch were at the south pier everyone went and caught them all. Anyways, just got back from the south pier, caught a few perch and a handful of sheephead. slow night

fished nort pier in the morning no perch but 2 largemouth and 2 smallmouth.one of the lm was 21 both sm about pound and half . alot af bass by the wall.

fished 2 piers on sat caught quite a few 9-10 inch perch at 1 and hammered large and smallmouth on other only could get them on green pumpkin crayfish tube lot of 2-3 lbrs between 3 of us.
