NORTH PIER

Fished there yesterday with D4G after some perch.. was fishin perch rigs on bottom with minnows.. no luck though.. watched the cold front move through and saw the water go from mostly calm to 2 fters with white capps..and the winds went from calm to steady 35 mph. grab your stuff and hold on.. NW/

I'd need to let one curl on the pier to be sure of that. Whatever was down there was lighting up the biggest marks I have on my unit...and there were alot of em.

I work with a guy who uses shrimp for bait and one of his favorite spots is the channel. He catches some really big cats.

My guess is that there are so many minnows under the boat it is showing big fish on the screen. This same thing happened to me last week & looked down in the water while my fish finder was full of big fish only to see a trillion minnows.

South Pier has been dead also. Along with East Ave & Liberty Park. The feesh have lock jaw with all the cold fronts. Had a report of 25 perch caught in 14fow east of LPFC. Try 60fow off the point. The last fisherman has his nets out there.
