Was there for 5 hours today. Most boats that came in reported zero bites as did the shore fishermen. The only sign of life was a small trout a guy caught near the ramp....great conditions though, everyone looked pretty happy on that basis....

Went out yesterday, fished for 4 hours.  We landed 4 smallies between 2 of us, had 2 more get off. Water was between 58 and 60 degrees.  Fish were caught out of 4-8 feet.

I was there two weeks ago and the water level was up to the overflow. Probably dropped a little but can't imagine too much in only 2 weeks.

Ya i was there about 2 weeks ago as well. I dont think ive seen it this full for this long for quite awhile. For some reason i've done way better after the water levels are down a few feet. Maybe cuz by then the weeds are grown in thicker, not really sure.

Thier gettin pretty thick. Cabbage is up to top, or water is down to the cabbage, however ya wanna look at it. The other stuff (milfoil?) is gettin pretty thick and starting to mat up on top. Some real nice edges to work out to about (was) 14 feet on the shallow side of the lake. Was trolling storm wildeye kickin' minnow 6" pretty fast.3-5 mph

they're all tigers in there..anything under 45" anyway..any purebreds would be at least 10 years old..maybe more. congrats on the double...they're pretty fish coming out of that clear water. No info to give ya tiller..been doing what seems like a total restoration on my sisters rust bucket ranger..havent been there for quite awhile.. my best guess is its probably low water high weeds, prolly almost choked outside the old launch and the island.
edit. at least 12 years old..they stopped stocking purebreds in 1998.

Not much action today.  Weeds are getting pretty thick on the west side of the lake.  Water level is down enough to have the island showing.  It was good to get out for the first time since the end of June.

Doe's anyone know if they are planning to go to a 20hp limit at the power Dam like the other PA lakes? I used to like fishing there but now am overpowered.
