BIG Flocks

Starting to see some cast off jakes and sub. gobblers, hens are pretty much still all bunched up. Anyone else seeing them start to split yet?

they need to move the season up 2 weeks or so. by the time our season comes in most of the turkeys are done breeding. after the 1st day or 2 it gets really tough.

Drove from Oil City to Conneaut Lake yesterday, pretty much stayed on back roads the whole way. Saw one flock that had about 15, the rest of the birds we saw were split into 3-5 birds. There were alot of birds out yesterday in the rain.

i see barely any in my area, i think the snow got to them this year around here as for they were not ever prepaired for 3-4 weeks of no food..unless they were living behind a feeder. the flocks at the feeders have a good group though.

The big flocks of earlier seem broken up where I am. Lately, I see two or three together, or singles.
