WOODCOCK WATER

Anyone know if/when its unfrozen and when the water level rises in the lake?
 
And when do they normally put the dock back in at the launch?  I'm itching to get my boat out on some water & I love that lake.
 
I don't live close enough to check it myself, any info is greatly appreciated guys- thanks!

    I know you know that no one can guess that date but from what i am seeing alot of lakes around that area still have ice covering most to all of them. So i bet you still got some time to wait

    Typically the dock goes in sometime in the middle of april but I have been up there the first week in May and the dock still hasn't been in.  If you google search woodcock lake you should be able to find a phone number for up there to call and check.

    I walked the dam at Woodcock today. The water level is up about 20' due to snow melt. About 25% of the lake is ice free. The ice free area is around the outer perimeter. You can launch without the dock if you are careful. Several new fish cribs and christmas trees were put in this winter.

    Walked the dam friday night.Lake is ice free,water level appears to be about summer level. Didn't see anyone fishing!!!

    powerslaver looked good ,really wanted to go this weekend but no go Creek was fast but not muddy.
