Thompsons Lake

Anyone had any luck there this winter ice fishing??  I have an Adult Volleyball Tournament I have to officiate at Berne Knox on Saturday March 6th that should be over by 3:30pm and thought I would give Thompson's a try even if just jigging for a couple hours.

    Thompsons is tough ...... if not even downright TOUGH .....  i don't even ice fish there anymore since there are better spots around.
     
    But ... if you do want to go try straight off the boat launch a couple hundred yards ... you'll get 20+ feet of water and a decent spot for crappies and perch (if such a thing exists there).
     
    People catch trout intermittently in winter ....  fish could be anywhere in the water column.
     
    You might also try off to the left of the launch out a couple hundred yards .. a little shallower and more weedy there.
