big muskies, big eyes, and now the crappies are back at the maedville end again.. this lake has some good fishing in it.. with a lil effort you can produce fish from here.. get a map and get hunting..NW/

Fished the meadville end by the dam 2:30 till after dark last night. Caught many crappie all 3 to 4 inches, 2 bluegills, 2 perch, and one 29" muskie. All released to grow bigger I hope.Kids had fun snowboarding on the dam. Wife got cold wet feet from the two inches of slush and water under the six to seven inces of snow.Ice was 5 to 6 inches thick.

Is it that bad closer to the other end?
We have hit the middle of the lake in June for musky...
I know it not very deep there.
How deep were you fishing?
Many guys?

I fished in about 10 to 12 FOW. A guy and his son came and left they didn't catch anything. Looked like I had that end of the lake all to myself. Couldn't see anyone as far as the Springs Road launch.

stopped by there for a lil while this afternoon to fish.. went off the handi-cap pier at a angle towards the dam.. fished in 10fow marked a few fish close to bottom just no takers..NW/

frished tamarak yesterday, here is my report as promised.
5 inches of soft ice, and slushy
caught 20 perch from 7 to 10.
had 3 cutoffs from something big and toothy
not the worst day fishing and not the best

fish the meadville end, there is a parking area,i thimk it is devore road. we fished 12 fow and did well. tipups with minnows worked for us. had three cutoffs for muskys. perch were mediums. no crappie let me know how you do.......
