I put a new floor in a 17ft. fiberglass boat about 30yrs. ago. It was alot of work, but you get alot of satisfaction from it. Keep the pictures coming. I don't know if you are aware of "Iboats.com" but they have alot of tips and restoring projects in their forum. My Wife said, if I go fish'n one more time, she'll leave me! God, I'm going to miss her! #31

I was sick, I had the wrong screws, my fuel line was full of hateful debris, nothing seemed to fit right. After an hour, I decided to not let it happen...and went home. I went back this evening...with higher hopes. Things immediately picked up where they left off. I made A quick "attitude adjustment"...and things looked....clearer. The rear deck was a little more work as everything underneath had to b straight b4 I screwed it down. I did finally get it in. My boat seems smaller with every screw I turn. The further you get into it....the further you get into it. I can't cry a bit though. Everything has gone "as good as it can go". Minus an hour or two last night. I'm pleased. I don't always snag fish, but when I do... I choose Little Cleos I'm the best looking smartest snagging poacher alive... #33

No worries...I have extension poles for both seats (and a phone book, should ya need one)...just didn't fit in the pic. No pic worthy action tonight...finished painted all the white. In the morn I'll paint the gray floor, and in the evening install driver/pass seats. Interior almost complete....then a whole new "project"....trailer is next. Let me suggest some skid-tex additive for your paint, than you wont need them strips. Also, how easily can you remove that gas tank? I guess you could mix your gas in a gas can 1st than fill up your tank. Awesome job there slick!!! Now that you're a pro, I might have to recruit you and your helpers for my boat overhaul. I know what yins are thinkin. Cool, now I can go fishing with Slick on his new boat. NOT Happenein! Did you notice, only 2 SEATS? 1 for me and 1 fer Slick..........LOL #52

I'm starting to get a little concerned though. It's been a few weeks.....and nothin' in the mail. Maybe if I knew a mailman...I could check into it. I have my temp stickers which are good through 4/10. I ain't scared the paperwork is bogus...but....The duud I bought the boat from was like 100 years old.....the "after hours notary" was like 1,000 years old. Nice duuds...but...well...no other way to put it...old, and doin my paperwork in pencil. I'm gonna have faith that its PA's stall and not the old duuds. For the record.....I don't need no stinkin' papers. B....you can believe I will be the first guy on the bay....I'll run Leon over to make sure. I'll fish in a circle if nessacary.
