I'm glad everybody had a good time. I know I did! The food was great, the fishing good and the turnout outstanding. Thanks to all that pitched in and brought food. We should definately do it again next year. Skip and I were talking about having everybody bring any fishing equipment they wanted to sell or trade to next year event. We could stage this after lunch.

greg, i (we appreciate) what you put together.  it was really a great time.  thanks also for the deal on that orvis reel.

skip, jack, dano and mika...we meet only a few times a year, but seems as though we have been around together for a long time.  hope us silver skulls can do this for awhile. 

when i pulled in (late, as usual), the first person i saw was tim.  that big shat eating grin made me know it was going to be a good day.  even though he snapped his boo and his leaders waked, he left the same way he came in, smiling and tired.

cold and i always seem to find a few minutes to gab.  his entusiasm is infectuous.  to be young and have passions.... 

bings, have waited a long time to meet you but seems as though i have known you for a very long time.  was nice sitting with you and mike and ffpa and his pop and jack there.  felt like i was in with old friends.

the legends, bug drifter, mo, 6.7 (i want your 5wt), deetz, dream catcher, finally got to gab.  cannot believe how far you guys come for food.

dt, whenever i travel through western pa., i always look for streams and then that cabin on wheels.  you're a very rich man, whether you know it or not.

skip, really nice of you for what you did for vp and james and 71gto.

man, just so many good people, too many to mention, but another memory created.  i printed the picture and took it to work last night.  it rode around, taped to my clipboard and made work that much easier.

hopefully, we can meet with dt on the clarion this summer.  sure would be nice to get together soon.

A great turn out with great weather, friends , fishing , and food. It was nice to see and talk to all who were there again. Big thanks to beerman for gettin er done. I wont say that I didnt know what I was doing but I did manage to hook up 13 times and get 9 to the hand. What a great time. I also got 4 of those hook ups on the old boo rod I found in my gramps basement. My Shoulder Be Hurtin .  Now that Ive done it I will put it away. A couple of pics of da feesh.

Otherwise it was another A+ FishErie function.  The food gets better every year, and when the fishing permits, so does the turnout.
 
Guys that don't make it or get a chance to go are really missing a great event.  It's always a treat to meet new people from the site and to see old friends.  Can't wait til next year.

Just a note here to say a big thank-you to everybody who made this event a success but especially to GTO and Skip for the cooking, and Beerman for organizing it.  Brandon had a BLAST over the 2 days.  He met so many people he forgot most of the names so I kept getting descriptions like "the guy with the really red hair" > deetz! and "the guy I fished with" > loopy; so he had fun.  AND I finally got a pork sandwich and some shrimp.  (i've always seemed to miss them before).   YeaaaaaH! 
     Now for about 3 days sleep!  Over 2,000 miles in 4 days is a little much on a bad spine and neck.   Remember kids: Pain killers will stave off pain; but it will be there waiting.

not to change the subject but I know Eggsac - Tom Eakin was a big supporter of this annual get together.  Any info on what's happened to him.

I've tried to contact him a couple times to no avail...I think he got his fill.

Had a great time and enjoyed beerman....I usually lurk but coming out of the closet...oil creek is in my backyard and this is about the most pressure I have seen the stream get...lots of great guys here on Sunday....
