vexilar

anybody know of any cheaper alternatives toa vex, lookin for a flasher, but its hard to justify 3-400 for something I don't do as much as i used to. We used to use an lcd fish finder, but it seemed kind of slow, so lookin for a flasher, a hummingbird maybe.

You might give E-Bay a try, as some of my friends have gotten really good bargains on that site.

I use this sonar for both open/hardwater.. great off the kayak even great for trolling in small metal or plastic hull boats because the signal passes through the hull..easy positioning and to pocket.. just don't expect it to pickup fish like a 300 to 500 dllar flasher or more featured LCD fish finder.. this is imo the most convenient for contouring the bottom on the move say jigging and popping alot of holes .http://www.strikemaster.com/polarvision.html
