RE: inland ice conditions?
hit tamarack and woodcock past two days. got about a dozen eating size perch and some small crappie at both places. picked up one small musky on a tip-up at woodcock, about 28in to 30in and THICK and HEALTHY. that little guy must me enjoying the taste of perch and crappie too.
ice at woodcock; about 5in with a 1in slush layer in the middle
ice at tamarack; about the same as woodcock
ice at eaton; 2in white ice, on top of 9in of slush, on top of 4in of white ice (we did not fish there at all, but there were tracks out there)
