That's the way...  Last Sunday I was told my venison steaks were making a whole buncha peeps jealous/hungry out on Misery.  Can't get the **** thing to stop singing, though.  Makes a hell of a racket when it gets cookin'.  Just wish I'd have had a beer or three to go with 'em.

it actually throws off too much heat for the Recon, so I'm thinking I'll just use the propane lantern for heat, and the trusty old 8 x 18 grill for cooking from now on.  It's perfect for the hunting blind, except for the singing, and the fact that the hunting blind was stolen a week B4 flint season ended.  Sat there for nearly 4 months, and the ba***ds stole it in a blizzard!

Well, I just had to jump in on this convo after lurking for a long time.  Might just witness this snowball fight of your's if we can't get into the perch on the big Bay.  Between ice-breakers and a slight warm-up, the deep of the main bay may be a no-go 'til Feb.
