blade baits like Cicada/Sonar for steel?

 Does anyone use blade baits like Cicadas or Sonars for steelhead? I caught one on a small spoon jigged thru the ice one time.

    never caught a stealy on one but lots and lots of other fish in fact a steely is about the only fish i havent got on one yet due to fact i never fished erie through ice yet but it should work when i go i will have one ready
