Christmas Pike

I really didn't have much to do on Christmas morning, and some other icemen were free until lunch- so I met up with IceFishinSteve and his brother who was visiting from Cincinatti.  It was a short half-day before we set off for our respective holiday dinners, but we whacked a few Northerns and whistled Jingle Bells a little bit.
 
Great to see I.F.Steve back on the hardwater for the season. We celebrated Festivus with a Northern Pike Double:

My total Esox pike count for the 2009-2010 ice season hit 15 today.  And climbing:

    No better way to start Xmas day than a little ice fishing. The pike kept us real busy all morning. No monsters but it was great to finally land some pike. Hopefully bigger pike are in the cards for sunday. Great to get out with Jimmy and my bro.

    THANKS FOR THE ADDITION IN THE POST JIMMY I HAD A BLAST SINCEMOVIN TO CINCINNATI I DONT GET HARDWATER OPPS TO FISH . I HAVE DISCOVERED THE WORLD OF CATFISHIN THOUGH .  WILL BE THERE SUNDAY WITH ICEFISHIN STEVE AND MY KIDS LETS NAIL EM AGAIN!!!
