Does anyone have info on the ellicott ny, area like motels, creek names, good places to fish.  New to this salmon fishing and just looking for some info thanxs..

    Thats alright some guy sent me some great info on lodging up there off 18mile cant wait to hit it real soon this upcoming weekend or the 1st week in oct ill be there 1st timer yahoooooooooooo..

    It will be are 1st time ive been to erie 50 times and know the crowds there. Would it be ok to use 8lb flouro, for leader off 12 lb test for those salmon or is this to light????thanxs.
