LFZ CLOSED1

The LFZ will stay closed until Oct. 15th.How's that for news!

    It was posted on Salmoncrazy.....it's true and confirmed by Fran at the hatchery.
    Also,the water flow will be at 100cfs until ??????...it looks like a three ring circus is about to happen in Salmon Country,it's not going to be pretty!

    pafisher......looks like I really picked a good year to miss the RUN......salmon season will certainly be a miss this year for me.....no way I can fish for salmon.....probably not even fishing for steelhead this year!!!!!!...........
     
    sounds like a logical idea and should prove worthy for future stocks.......hopefully everyone won't get too mad over the situation up there..........everyone needs to do a raindance
     
    Hope you still make a trip up there..........I can't see missing the smell of the air.....the feel of the river bottom......and the tug of a mighty salmon........what a sickness we have........

    2Bonthewater,your missing it because of injury,I'm going to miss it because of no water!......No way am I going up there on my scheduled trip the first week of Oct......it's going to be shoulder to shoulder everywhere there is any water and fish,and the ripping/snagging is going to get ugly!....with the water as low as it is ,and probably going to stay because there's no rain in sight,the fish are n't going to be where I like to fish anyway.....So maybe after Columbus Day I 'll get there,if not I'll be heading west to you know where!
