Allegeny, below Tionesta

Launched Saturday morning about 8:00 at Kibbe's, went up past golf course about 1/2 mile, fog was very thick. We got about 30' from another boat before we saw them!
Drifted down to Hunters bridge 0, and then smallmouth turned on. Between the three of from 9 - 11:00 or so we got about 20, 2/3 on Riffle Runners, rest on medium shiners. Wouldn't touch large shiners. Huge difference between the Riffle and the Shiners was amazing. Riffles would hit the water and bang, much slower hit on the shiners. Hate to say it but probaly last time fishing from boat for 2008. Shore fishing will be the game, outflow, under Tionesta bridge, under Huter bridge and the topwater bite will be starting shortly.
Biggest smallmouth was about 16", majority bewteen 12"-14'
